Call for applications : Photography Workshop with Jason Dorsey

​CALL FOR PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
Kwanda Art Foundation (KAF), and Kigali Center for Photography are organizing a Master-class Photography Workshop – that is taking place between 05th .02. – 06.02.2018 in Kigali as part of the project Focus on Visual Story-telling Program. 
This photography workshop will focus on providing the space for aspiring photographers to sharpen their skills as visual storyteller through exploring the history of photography (Africa and Abroad) and learning the fundamental rules of photography. To maximize the two days’ workshop, the plan is to use a hand on approach by spending most of our time in the field practicing what we learned in class.
The students will choose a photography project that they will work on during the workshop and this project will be presented as part of an exhibition to celebrate the students’ growth and work.
 Kwanda Art Foundation is now accepting applications from photographers.  8 Selected participants are expected to attend the whole period of the workshop and must bring their own photo camera equipment. 
Selection
The Programme is for Rwandan photographers with at least 1 years of practical experience.

• 8 practicing photographers will be selected through an open call process
  
  

Interested participants are required to submit the following information before Monday 05th 2018 to [email protected] a completed entry form (download), a profile/short biography (max. 800 words) with recent picture(s) that will be used for publicity.
 
Kwanda will confirm receipt of your entry form. A professional team will assess the submissions received and decide which individuals will participate in the 2018 Photography Workshop.
